Sewing Class Information

Classes are small, on a first come basis, and are open to all sewing levels. If you are a beginner, please let me know when you register. 
Class Sessions are held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. You may register for any session by phone or by mail. Registration by phone must be followed within four days by your payment. Full payment is required to reserve your space in the class. 
There will be no makeup classes if you miss a class.

Supplies List

The following is a suggested list of supplies you will need for sewing.

1. *Box with lid.
2. *Shears.
3. Sewing Scissors.
4. Tape Measure.
5. Seam gauge 6".
6. *Dressmaker Pins.
7. Pin cushion no boxes please.
8. Needles - hand sewing crewel/embroidery size 7/8
9. Seam ripper.
10. *Tailor's chark or magic marking pen/pencil.
11. Ruler (clear/see through 12" or 18").
12. Scotch Tape.
13. Dressmaker's wash out tracing paper and wheel.
14. *Pencil and Paper.
15. Bobins (will be provided for machines in class).
16. *Pattern, fabric and notions for project (fabric should be washed and dry cleaned as needed before beginning class). If you are a beginner, please purchase a skirt patters based on your measurements, and please try to use cotton or cotton blend fabric.)
17. Optional: Bee's wax, point turner, thimble.
18. Pressing cloth.
